[01.07.07] SHELTER SA participates in the research project “PRECASTEEL”

SHELTER S.A participates actively in the research project “PRECASTEEL” and collaborates with various other European organizations such as structural companies, universities, research institutes. The project is funded by the European Commission.
The research project “PRECASTEEL” (with a duration of three years) focuses in analyzing and designing typical industrial steel buildings, while taking into account Eurocodes (EC) 3 and 8. An automated-integrated design software with cost-effectiveness analysis module will be realized to favor the use of proposed solutions in common design practice.

SHELTER S.A participates actively in the research project “STEELRETRO” and collaborates with various other European organizations such as structural companies, universities, research institutes. The project is funded by the European Commission.
The aim of the research project “STEELRETRO” (with a duration of three years) is to set up steel solutions for the seismic retrofit of existing buildings, furnishing design and construction methodologies, tools for dimensioning of elements and connections as well as for cost estimation.
